We are open all year
March through October: daily from 9:00 to 18:00
November through February: daily except Mondays from 9:00 to 16:00
When public holidays fall on a Monday, we are open; on 24 and 31 December,
the museum is closed.
Last visitors admitted 30 minutes before closing.

How to reach the Saalburg by car:
How to reach the Saalburg by public transport:
From Frankfurt take the S-Bahn (S5/ Direction Bad Homburg/ Friedrichsdorf)
to the Bad Homburg Bahnhof; from there, a city bus (Line 5) travels several
times daily to the Saalburg.
Alternatively, take the Taunusbahn (Line 15) from Frankfurt (several times daily) or from Bad Homburg to the Saalburg/Lochmühle Bahnhof. From this station, follow a footpath along the Limes to the Museum (a walk of about 45 minutes).
