Accessible Saalburg
As a monument from the Wilhelminian era, the Saalburg was not originally designed to be barrier-free. Therefore, not all rooms can be reached by wheelchair. In order to still provide a comprehensive impression of the complex and all of its essential parts, a guided tour is offered especially for wheelchair users.
For example, a look into the contubernium, the team room, is made possible with the help of large panels. In addition, important aspects of Roman soldier life are made directly tangible to the group through the presentation of original finds and replicas.
