The TABERNA team invites you to take a break in the Roman fort. Relax on the sun-drenched terrace or in the dining room with furnishing based on Pompeiian models. Enjoy ancient Roman or contemporary cuisine in a suitable ambience.
Since 2002, TABERNA has stood for high-quality museum gastronomy and was awarded 3rd and 1st place in the Hessian Gastronomy Award in the excursion category in 2010 and 2012.

November, December, February: Tue-Sun from 12pm to 4pm
Closed on Mondays (open on public holidays in Hesse)

The TABERNA can only be visited after purchasing the entrance fee. It is located inside the fort and, with its reconstructed furnishings, is also part of the museum exhibition.
Special à la carte or menu arrangements are offered for registered groups. A separate dining room for up to 30 people in a private atmosphere is available for this purpose.

The TABERNA with its furnishing based on Pompeiian models, offers groups of 20 to 50 people an extraordinary and suitable ambience in the fort. The Taberna team spoils its guests with individual culinary arrangements from Roman and contemporary cuisine.
