Visit by public transport

City bus line 5 (Bad Homburg)
Take the S-Bahn line 5 from Frankfurt am Main towards Bad Homburg/Friedrichsdorf to Bad Homburg. From the station Bahnhofsvorplatz only four times a day (on weekdays) with city bus line 5 to Saalburg.

Taunusbahn
Take the Taunusbahn (line 15) from Bad Homburg or Frankfurt am Main (runs a few times a day) to Saalburg/Lochmühle train station. From there a footpath leads along the Limes to the Saalburg (approx. 45 minutes).
