Theme day Anno 1900: The Saalburg is built
This theme day on the early days of the Saalburg Museum is dedicated to the laying of the foundation stone of the Principia, the main building of the Saalburg. This was celebrated in the autumn of 1900 with a large costume party and an "ancient Roman celebration" and this year marks the 125th anniversary.
