Limes March 2023 visiting the Saalburg – canceled!
Unfortunately, the visit to the Limes March 2023 at the Saalburg has been canceled due to illness.
In August and September, a group of five soldiers with the complete fighting and marching equipment of the legionaries will march from the Roman fort of Abusina along the Limes to the Roman world of Rheinbrohl around the year 100 AD. They stop at the Saalburg, set up their marching camp and are available to answer any questions about life on the march.
The troops are expected to arrive on Saturday and leave on Sunday.
