New anniversary tour in the Kastell Guide!

The foundation stone for the reconstruction of the fort was laid on October 11, 1900, in the presence of Kaiser Wilhelm II. Therefore, this year we are celebrating the 125th anniversary of the rebuilt Saalburg and invite you all to join us.

To kick off the season on May 1st, we are launching a new anniversary tour in the Kastell Guide with six exciting stories from 125 years of the museum.

For example, learn about the eventful story of the missing equestrian figure or what the former English teacher of Kaiser Wilhelm II's daughter has to say about the imperial family and the Saalburg.

Visit us and take a walk through the museum on a historic path with the anniversary tour.
