The Taberna, the Saalburg museum restaurant, offers all guests the opportunity to try culinary delicacies from Roman cuisine. Try a selection of dishes based on Roman recipes and end the afternoon relaxing in the museum restaurant and museum.

PUBLIC TOURS
Sunday (November–February): 2 p.m together for adults and children
Sunday (March-October): 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m Separate tours for adults and children from school age
Each participant will receive a sticker at the checkout, which must be worn visibly.
Duration: approx. 45 minutes. Adults: €5, children: €3 plus admission

The 1st Roman Cohort Opladen presents Roman cuisine in their impressive supply tent and at numerous other stations. The Gladiatores Berolinenses demonstrate their martial arts skills in exhibition fights and offer all interested parties the opportunity to try out a training session. The culinary program is complemented by a Stone Age cook who explains cooking with a cooking pit.
