Public tours of the Saalburg
During a short tour of the Saalburg, which is tailored entirely to the needs of the guests, you will get to know the main buildings of the fort. Afterwards you can exchange ideas about what you know and learn new things over coffee and cake using original objects.
As part of a 90-minute guided tour through the fort, the Saalburg museum education team offers teachers the opportunity to get an overview of the existing buildings and exhibition areas and find out how they can be used. Practical tips and suggestions are also given that can be helpful in planning a successful trip.
Enjoy a multi-course meal based on Roman recipes with the right wine for each course. Experience a well-rounded cultural program with archaeological finds, information about Roman food culture and history as well as historical clothing. An exclusive and entertaining evening for all the senses.
