Apollo, god of archers, and Diana, goddess of the hunt, are the patron saints of our adventurous weekends with bow making, games, campfires and more.
Follow the individual steps of making an oil lamp and learn more about the exciting imagery of the lamps. In the Roman school, students of all ages learn all about the differences and similarities between ancient and modern schools.
As part of a 90-minute tour of the fort, the museum educational team from the Saalburg teaching staff offers the opportunity to get an overview of the existing buildings and exhibition areas and find out how they can be used.
PUBLIC TOURS
Sunday (November–February): 2 p.m together for adults and children
Sunday (March-October): 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m Separate tours for adults and children from school age
Each participant will receive a sticker at the checkout, which must be worn visibly.
Duration: approx. 45 minutes. Adults: €5, children: €3 plus admission

The Taberna, the Saalburg's museum restaurant, offers all guests the opportunity to sample culinary delights from Roman cuisine. Try a selection of dishes prepared according to Roman recipes and enjoy a relaxing afternoon in the museum restaurant and museum itself. This event is unfortunately already fully booked.
